Media Students in the Parade

Introduction to Media and Media students participating in the homecoming parade and game activities need to meet in the MAC Lab prior to 3:15. If you are here after 3:15, please report to the Art Room.

FFA Picnic

FFA Members & Friends- the get acquainted picnic will be held October 6th at Chelsea Mobley's house. See Ms. Gripshover or Chelsea for details and address.

Homecoming Dance Homecoming Dance

The homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, October 1st from 8:00 P.M. to 11 P.M. in the Cafeteria. Tickets are $10.00 at the door. Light refreshments are included with admission. The attire is semi-formal.

FBLA Officer Elections

Attention FBLA members - We will be holding officer elections next Wednesday, October 5th, after school in Room 208. Dues must be paid for anyone who wants to run for a position. Dues are $9.00 and can be paid to Ms. Biddle before or after school in Room 208.

Freshmen Leadership League

Freshmen Leadership League members are posted on Mr. Jones door Room 107. Please stop in at your convenience, as there is information you must receive.

FAFSA Night

Attention Seniors: Conner Guidance is sponsoring FAFSA night on Tuesday, October 4th at 6:30 P.M. in the Library. Bob McDermott, counselor from the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority, will be here to discuss the FAFSA -- there will also be free help available in completing the FAFSA for those who bring in their financial information and FSA ID number. Any questions, see Guidance.

Gatton Academy Meeting

Attention 9th and 10th Graders: Conner Guidance is hosting an informational meeting about The Gatton Academy on Monday, October 3rd at 6:30 P.M. in the Auditorium. Zack Ryle, Assistant Director of Admissions, will be here to talk about the program and admissions requirements. Please make plans to attend if interested.

Senior Honors Luncheon

Attention Seniors: If you were sent an invitation to the WKU Honors Luncheon and plan to attend on October 11th, you MUST stop by Guidance to pick up a permission form and Auto Affidavit and return it in order to attend. Any questions -- see Guidance.

FFA National Convention

FFA Members, if you wish to attend National Convention, Friday, September 30th, is the last day to make a deposit!

FFA Members Parade Information

FFA Members: You must be a PAID CHS FFA member in order to ride the float on Friday. Please bring candy. Dues will also be created this Friday.

Picture Retake/Club Picture Day

Picture retake and club picture day will be held on Wednesday, October 26th during 1st and 2nd Blocks in the Small Gym.  If you have your picture retaken, please bring cash or a check payable to Lifetouch on Wednesday, October 26th and give directly to the photographer.  The Main Office is not permitted to accept your order form and payment.  If you attend the ATC, School of Design, Early College, Dual Enrollment or Internship, please have your retake picture done at 7:00 a.m.

Mrs. Martin Receives Break the Mold Award

Conner High School and the Boone County Board of Education would like to congratulate Mrs. Emily Martin on winning the October 2016 "Break the Mold" award.  Mrs. Martin is most deserving of this honor and we are very proud of her accomplishment.

Senior Portraits

Attention Seniors and Parents:  Don't miss out on your senior portrait with Prestige.  In order to be in the digital yearbook and the class picture that will be mounted on the walls of CHS, you need to have your portrait taken ASAP.  Please contact Prestige to make an appointment or obtain further details.  Information packets were sent home with the student at the end of last year.  You may also email Mrs. Redding.

Sophomore Class Ring Information

Class ring information packets were distributed to the sophomores today. There will be an opportunity for parents to come to meet with Herff Jones on Thursday, October 13th from 3:00 – 7:00 PM in the lobby of the school. Orders will be taken on Friday, October 14th during lunch.

FASFA Information for Seniors

Attention Seniors: October 1st is the start date to fill out your FAFSA for college! Check posters throughout the building to look at resources available and Student/Parent meetings to help complete the FAFSA. Any student looking at education after high school needs to fill out the FAFSA. Any questions -- see Guidance.

Microsoft Student Advantage Program

As part of our district licensing agreement, Microsoft has announced the Microsoft Student Advantage Program.  This program allows students in our district to install Office products on up to 5 devices – FREE.  Information on how students can download this free software is available here and it is linked off the Technology Department page of the district website.


Conner High School recycles ink and laser toner cartridges, cell phones, iPods/mp3 players, laptops, digital cameras, and gps devices. Unfortunately we cannot accept copy machine cartridges at this time. Contact Debbie Slusher if you have empty cartridges to donate.
