PSAT/NMSQT Registration

The PSAT will be given at Randall K. Cooper High School on Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021. The cost is $20.00 and checks should be made out to RANDALL K. COOPER HIGH SCHOOL.  This test is intended for high school juniors; however, sophomores and freshman are also encouraged to take the test.  The testing session will last about three hours.

The PSAT measures critical thinking skills which include reading, math, and writing.  The benefits for taking the PSAT include entrance into the National Merit Scholarship Program for juniors.  Other benefits include receiving information from other scholarship programs and from colleges, gaining information about college readiness skills, preparing for the SAT, and access to online college and career tools.

To register for the PSAT, please complete the bottom portion of the form and return it along with your $20.00 fee to the Media Center  by October 15th.  Priority registration will be granted for all juniors registering prior to October 15th; ten fee waivers are available for juniors who qualify.  They will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
